The Broken Arrow Police Department says a man died Wednesday night after an accident shooting on the city’s side.
Police were called to a residence near 36th Street and S. 214th East Ave. and found a 35-year-old man suffering from a single gunshot wound. His name has not been released.
The man was immediately taken by Broken Arrow Fire Department paramedics to St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, where he later died from his injuries.
BAPD Public Information Officer Ethan Hutchins said it was, “an isolated incident and there is no ongoing threat to the public at this time. We are working diligently to investigate the circumstances surrounding this incident.”
