The company developing the Sunset Amphitheater in Broken Arrow has announced a partnership with three-time Super Bowl champion Troy Aikman to help brand the facility.
The Aikman Clubs is an elevated club space with food and beverage available at concerts. But it will also be open on non-event days for rentals, hosting corporate events and other functions.
Venu CEO J.W. Roth said the clubs expand the company’s vision beyond the concert space, which already will feature “firepit suites” situated between seated sections that include food and drink in a “relaxed, intimate environment.”
Roth says the Aikman Club idea started with Aikman’s “Eight Elite” beer brand, named for his uniform number, that launched in 2022 as a healthier, low-calorie alcoholic beer. This led to discussions with Roth and Aikman’s team about sponsorship or branding opportunities.
“Troy’s a music fan and started his own festival,” said Roth, noting Aikman’s “Highway To Henryetta” festival in 2022 that featured country artist Blake Shelton.
Club memberships in Broken Arrow will be $100,000 with 175 founding memberships up for grabs. The memberships include two tickets per membership, with premium reserved assigned seats to every ticketed event for life.
Memberships include access to a buffet and premium cash bar service, VIP parking and option to resell Aikman Club tickets and parking passes.
The Broken Arrow amphitheater is set to open mid-2025 for a partial summer season at a seating capacity of 12,500.
Construction of the facility has been in process since June 2024, but an official groundbreaking and celebration took place in October.
Venu Holding Corp. became a publicly traded company on the New York Stock Exchange American. VENU’s first earnings report since its initial public offering noted that total assets rose to $166.6 million as of September 30, 2024, an increase of 100% compared to $83.2 million as of December 31, 2023.
