The Broken Arrow Chamber recently hosted their Awards Gala at River Spirit Casino Resort. This year’s black-tie, Top Gun themed gala was an elegant evening where achievements in business and community leadership in Broken Arrow were recognized and celebrated.
There were 14 awards presented, this year, to a range of businesses and business leaders. The award committee is comprised of a committee including past award winners.
Below are the awards that were given out on Saturday and the recipients:
- Police Officer of the Year: K-9 Officer Eric Keech, BAPD
- Firefighter of the Year: Firefighter Jo’es Okotoghaide, BAFD
- Volunteer of the Year: Jackie Kozlowski, Cabi Fashion Stylist
- Total Resource Campaign Top Producer: Mike Scrimsher, Royal Printing
- Total Resource Campaign Top Increase in Sales: Jamie Wheeler, AVB Bank
- Community Advocate of the Year: Larry Pennington, Pennington & Associates
- Manufacturer of the Year: Solar Turbines
- Non-Profit of the Year: The Demand Project
- Business-Person of the Year: Ronda Butler, Ronda Butler-Keller Williams Preferred
- Small Business of the Year (15 or fewer employees): Star Jewelers
- Mid-Size Business of the Year (16-50 employees): Water’s Edge Winery on the Rose
- Large Business of the Year (51+ employees): Tactical Electronics
- Citizen of the Year: Mike Scrimsher, Royal Printing
- Chairman’s Award: Celia & Cesar DeLeon. Celia DeLeon Farmers Insurance & Travel Agency
