Broken Arrow chef and caterer Candace Conley will appear in an episode of TBS’ cooking competition series called Rat in the Kitchen!
The show, which was shot in Atlanta, premieres Thursday, March 31 at 8 p.m. but information on when Conley is to appear has not been available yet.
Hosted by comedian Natasha Leggero and celebrity chef Ludo Lefebvre, Rat in the Kitchen is a game of high stakes cat-and-mouse where viewers get to play detective. A mix of professional chefs and passionate home cooks compete in a series of creative cooking challenges, earning cash in their bank for every dish that impresses Chef Ludo while also attempting to expose an undercover “rat” determined to sabotage the dishes.
At the end of each episode, both cooks and viewers will determine who they think is the rat. If the cooks guess correctly, they win their bank, but if successfully duped, then the rat walks away with the cheddar.
“You can’t imagine how crazy it is,” said Conley in a news release. “Everyone had to watch the other chefs for possible sabotage, and we all had to adjust to the twists and turns the show threw at us, while creating original and spectacular dishes to be judged by (Lefebvre).
It was definitely a complicated game of strategy and whodunit.”
For over 13 years, Conley has offered recreational cooking classes in Tulsa and now in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma’s Rose District. Her mission is simple: teach people how to cook more at home, and enjoy it.
She co-hosts the podcast, Not A Single Fork, with her general manager, Natalia Banjac, where they continue their mission to help home cooks with a humorous and often edgy approach to food and cooking. Chef Candace has appeared in Food Network’s Cooks vs Cons and represented Oklahoma at the inaugural year of the Flavored Nation Food Festival.
Following her passion for Italian food, she spent time in Italy cooking at Al Podere restaurant in Friuli and at the Emidio Pepe Agriturismo and vineyard in Abruzzo. Chef Candace was also an awards judge for the International Association of Culinary Professionals and the sponsored chef/celebrity spokesperson for Thermador/Bosch/Metro Appliances & More.
