Mark your calendars for the second annual Community Services Expo on Saturday, Feb. 10, at the Stoney Creek Conference Center, 200 W. Albany St., from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
This event will help attendees become better informed about the City of Broken Arrow’s public services and how they can benefit you and the community. Discover Broken Arrow Parks and Recreation programs, economic development initiatives, utility billing, street maintenance, and more!
“We like to say that we are the ‘City where opportunity lives,’ and we truly believe that! There are so many opportunities for people to get involved and impact the community,” Mayor Debra Wimpee said. “City leaders will lead discussions and meet with residents to answer their questions and showcase why BA is a fantastic place to live, work, and play.”
Area non-profits such as Broken Arrow Neighbors, Broken Arrow Seniors, Arts 302, and Keep Broken Arrow Beautiful will also be at the event with information about their services. The Community Services Expo is free and open to the public, and it will benefit anyone who lives in Broken Arrow or may be considering a move to the community.
“The Community Services Expo is an excellent opportunity for citizens to come out and learn more about local government and how it operates,” City Manager Michael Spurgeon said. “I believe that all attendees will come away with valuable information about city operations and some of the most important programs and initiatives currently being implemented in Broken Arrow.”
The Community Services Expo is a fantastic opportunity to empower citizens and city staff to collaborate for a stronger community. For more information, including the session agenda, and to pre-register, visit the Community Services Expo page.
