The Broken Arrow Police Department says 3 people are dead after a murder-suicide that happened on the city’s south side, officials said.
Police responded to a home in the 100 block of W. Roanoke Street to serve a warrant in relation to a missing persons case involving 20-year-old Alyssa Shippy.
Police found an adult male, juvenile male, a female and a dog all dead inside the home. The adult male found had self-inflicted gunshot wounds.
Police said they are withholding names of the victims pending notification of relatives and positive identification of the woman. Police said there is no threat to the public.
BAPD said Shippy had been reported missing recently by out-of-state relatives.
