Detectives with the Broken Arrow Police Department are investigating a vehicle theft that occurred a week ago on the city’s north side.
The incident occurred at about 6 a.m. in the 2200 block of North Willow Avenue.
The stolen vehicle — a TruGreen work truck pulling a tractor — was flagged when the in-car dash cam system alerted TruGreen employees that the driver wasn’t wearing a seatbelt. The system repeatedly warns the suspect that he is “driving distracted.”
The footage shows the suspect, at one point, calling a possible accomplice to “help him hook the truck to a U-Haul and to follow him so he can dump the truck somewhere.”
The stolen truck was later found in Catoosa, abandoned without the trailer or tractor. The trailer has since been recovered, but the tractor remains missing.
Anyone that recognizes this individual or has any information on the trailer incident is asked to contact BAPD Det. Payne at WPayne@BrokenArrowOK.Gov.
