The Broken Arrow Chamber will host their annual State of the City luncheon Wednesday at the Stoney Creek Hotel & Conference Center.
This will be Broken Arrow City Michael Spurgeon’s ninth such address, which updates the Chamber membership and community on the city’s successes and challenges. The event runs from 11:15 a.m. to 1 p.m. and is sold out.
Those unable to attend may view the speech live on the City of Broken Arrow and the Broken Arrow Chamber Facebook pages.
“This year, the City Council and I could not be more excited about sharing what we have accomplished this year, what we are currently working on and what’s ahead in the very near future for our amazing community,” said Spurgeon.
Among the topics Spurgeon will discuss include economic growth, fiscal sustainability, public infrastructure, public safety and community development initiatives and the city’s next round of general obligation bonds.
“Broken Arow is honored to have a city manager, city council and city staff that pour time and resources into our community to ensure growth and economic success for years to come,” said Broken Arrow Chamber President & CEO Jennifer Conway. “This program is important to our membership because it presents an opportunity for them to see the vision being brought to life in our community.
