ShamRock the Rose 2024

ShamRock the Rose is a vibrant and spirited St. Patrick’s Day celebration that has been a cornerstone of the Broken Arrow Rose District for the past decade. This year’s event on March 16 marks the 10th anniversary, which is “a testament to the enduring spirit of community and commitment to those who have served our nation,” said organizer and Broken Arrow Mayor Debra Wimpee.

Beyond lively celebration, ShamRock the Rose — presented by Advance Alarms — carries a deeper purpose – supporting the nation’s heroes. This year, the event continues its partnership with Soldier’s Wish and Eagle OPS, two organizations dedicated to making a meaningful impact on the lives of veterans.

• Soldier’s Wish grants the wishes of our brave soldiers, providing them with experiences, assistance, and support they may need. Through ShamRock the Rose, we aim to contribute to the fulfillment of these wishes, bringing moments of joy and gratitude to those who have sacrificed so much for our freedom.
• Eagle OPS  focuses on the holistic well-being of veterans, offering resources and social connection that address both visible and invisible wounds. By participating in ShamRock the Rose, you are directly contributing to initiatives that enhance the lives of our veterans, fostering a community of support and understanding

“As we celebrate a decade of ShamRock the Rose, we invite you to be a part of something truly special. Your attendance and support directly contribute to the well-being and happiness of our veterans through the incredible work of Soldier’s Wish and Eagle OPS,” Wimpee says. “Together, we can make a difference and show our gratitude to those who have served our nation.”

The entertainment scheduled for this year includes School of Rock, Glam-R-U.S. and Weston Horn & the Hush Performance.
