June 5-14, 2026
The Broken Arrow Community Playhouse (BACP) is delighted to announce our production The Crucible, the final show in our 2025-2026 Season. The classic drama will run for two weekends, June 5–14, at the Playhouse, located at 1800 S. Main Street, Broken Arrow. Performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m.
This exciting drama about the Puritan purge of witchcraft in old Salem, Mass., is both a gripping historical play and a timely parable of our contemporary society. The story tells how small lies build and build until the suspicions of a whole town are aroused. Set in a small, tight-knit community, personal grievances collide with lust and superstition, fueling widespread hysteria. Arthur Miller’s timeless parable attacks the evils of mindless persecution and the terrifying power of false accusations.
The BACP welcomes back Jean Jones as director for The Crucible. Jones recently directed Alice in Wonderland at the BACP. Jones has assembled a talented ensemble including Travis Adamson, Gentry Barr, Steven Burger, Zerrik Burger, Benjamin Bush, Matthew Christian, Ameris Clay, Larry Comstock, Mae Huck, Abigayle Hurst, Greg Hurst, Kaelin Kendall, Rebekah King, Rachel Kirkpatrick, Ahnya Kulikov, Emma Marshall, Alyssa Martin, Abby Miller, Alexa Norris, Ethan Ostendorf, Garrek Reed, Mollie McBride Rogers, Lloyd Rose and Aden Steigerwalt.
Tickets are available by calling the BACP box office at 918-258-0077 or visiting www.bacptheatre.com/tickets. Patrons attending the matinee on Sunday, June 7, will be welcome to attend an afterglow, following the performance, to meet and greet the cast and enjoy a variety of hors d’oeuvres.
THE CRUCIBLE is presented by special arrangement with Broadway Licensing, LLC, servicing the Dramatists Play Service collection (www.dramatists.com). This production is made possible in part by grants from the Oklahoma Arts Council and the National Endowment for the Arts. The Broken Arrow Community Playhouse is a member of the Oklahoma Community Theatre Association and the American Association of Community Theatre.
