Good food, music and authentic performances ruled the day Sunday at the third annual Fiesta de Mayo in the Rose District.
Event planner Margarita Vega of Vega & Trevino Consulting talked with about the event’s history, goals and successes.
In keeping with an authentic representation of Hispanic culture, the festival previously known as Cinco de Mayo Fiesta changed its name to Fiesta de Mayo.
The Rose District and Supermercados Morelos hosted this year’s event.
