In a few weeks, the Broken Arrow Sentinel will be applying for a large grant from Press Forward, a national movement to strengthen communities by reinvigorating local news. Funding will become available to 100 news outlets across the U.S. that can be used to strengthen news organizations and serve their communities better.
This opportunity is very important for us, as the funding would help us expand our news offerings and do an even better job of covering the Broken Arrow. Our city is growing fast, and it takes time, manpower and resources to cover all this ground the way our readers deserve.
