For the first time in history, Miss Broken Arrow was crowned as the winner of the Miss Oklahoma Pageant.
Tessa Dorrell, an accomplished student journalist who graduated from Oklahoma State University last month, took the crown Saturday at the Rose State College Performing Arts Center in Midwest City.
Dorrell will succeed Lauren Frost of Wagoner, who was crowned Miss Oklahoma 2024 a year ago. Dorrell finished as a Top 15 semi-finalist last year in the Miss Oklahoma Pageant as Miss Payne County.
The rest of the finalists:
- 1st Runner Up – Jaselyn Rossman, Miss OSU
- 2nd Runner Up – Mia-Lynne Smith, Miss Oklahoma State Fair
- 3rd Runner Up – Jessica Davis, Miss Northwestern
- 4th Runner Up – Miriam Lowe, Miss Tulsa
In addition to her new role as Miss Oklahoma she recently accepted a job as a multimedia journalist for KOKH Fox 25 in Oklahoma City.
