Why am I being asked to donate to the Broken Arrow Sentinel?

The Broken Arrow Sentinel is an independent news organization based in Broken Arrow, Okla., founded in 2021 to provide accurate, unbiased news in Broken Arrow and beyond. We are locally owned and operated and have the city’s best interests at heart – whether the news is good or bad. Your donation will help us continue producing independent local news seen by thousands of people every day.

Does my donation entitle me to any tax relief or charitable donation deduction?

Donations to the Sentinel are not charitable donations and therefore are not tax deductible.

What payment methods can I use to make my donation?

You can make your donation by credit card, Google Pay, Apple Pay, Venmo, PayPal or check. We accept major credit cards.

How do I donate via check?

Please send checks to the address below and ensure you note “Customer Donation” in the memo line.

Refund and Cancellation Policy

Can I receive a refund?

For one-off and recurring donations, we offer refunds within 48 hours of the first payment being made. You can email info@basentinel.com to make the request.

How can I cancel my recurring donation?

If you would like to cancel your recurring donation, you can do so by xxxxxxxxx. After canceling, all future charges associated with your donation will be stopped.

Can I change the amount of my monthly recurring donation?

No, the prices on our donation page are set and cannot be changed.

How can I change the payment method of my recurring donation?

What happens if my recurring donation payment fails?

You will receive an email notification if your payment fails, respond to that email and we will send you a payment update link. You will be charged immediately once your payment method is updated.
