One person died and another person is in critical condition after a multi-vehicle crash that happened Thursday just east of Inola.
The collision occurred at about 11 a.m. U.S. 412, half a mile east of OK-88 in Rogers County, said the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
Richard Bundrick, 66, of Springdale, Ark. was driving a 2017 Ford F-150 and was pronounced dead at the scene. His passenger, 62-year-old Jennifer Bundrick of Springdale, Was taken by Pafford EMS to St. John Hospital in Tulsa and admitted in critical condition with head, internal and external trunk injuries.
Two other vehicles were involved in the crash. A 23-year-old Choctaw man, Kenyon Vessell, driving a 2020 Toyota Camera refused treatment.
Bonnie Welder, 76, of Santa Clarita, Calif., was driving the the third car involved, a 2005 Ford Explorer. She was taken by Pafford Ambulance to St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, where she was treated and released.
The cause of the accident, and seatbelt and airbag deployment, are still under investigation.
The Inola Police Department, Rogers County Sheriff’s Office and Inola Fire Department assisted OHP at the scene.
