Broken Arrow police and the Tulsa Police Department’s Special Operations team arrested a Broken Arrow man Wednesday morning on a felony count after serving a search warrant and arrest warrant.
The arrest took place around 9 a.m. at 3902 S. Walnut Pl., the same address where an incident took place last Thursday that triggered a massive police response in the neighborhood that lasted several hours.
Chadwick Chapman, 52, fired a gun in his yard that evening and was causing a disturbance when police were called, Broken Arrow police said. During the disturbance, Chapman brandished a firearm in a threatening manner, said Broken Arrow Police spokesman Christopher Walker.
The Broken Arrow Police Department’s detective division secured a search warrant for the residence and an arrest warrant for Chapman for feloniously pointing a firearm. Officers also seized multiple firearms from the home.
