The Broken Arrow Chamber hosted its Annual Awards Gala at River Spirit Casino Resort. This year’s black-tie Mardi Gras-themed celebration was a vibrant and elegant evening, honoring outstanding achievements in business and community leadership in Broken Arrow. Guests enjoyed a festive atmosphere with live music from local favorite, King Cabbage Brass Band.
This year, 16 awards were presented to a diverse group of businesses and business leaders. The selection process was led by a committee that includes past award recipients.
Below are the awards that were given out on Saturday and the recipients:
- Volunteer of the Year: Kim Vento, Broken Arrow Performing Arts Center*
- Community Advocate of the Year: Farrah Fulps, Farrah Fulps Investments
- Manufacturer of the Year: CymStar
- Non-Profit of the Year: Broken Arrow Senior Center
- Minority Owned Business of the Year: RedWoodard Small Business Solutions
- Business-Person of the Year: Kellen Cowan, Newave Solutions, LLC
- Small Business of the Year (15 or fewer employees): JADE Antiques & Vintage Boutiques
- Mid-Size Business of the Year (16-50 employees): Adept Patriot Services
- Large Business of the Year (51+ employees): Tedford Insurance
- Difference Maker Award: Jim Fram, Community Growth Strategies, LLC
- Chairman’s Award: Greg Graham, First National Bank & Trust Co. Broken Arrow
- Total Resource Campaign Top Producer: Mike Scrimsher, Royal Printing*
- Total Resource Campaign Top Increase in Sales: Kelly Beyer, Manpower*
- Chamber Ambassador of the Year: David Pickel, Brightway Insurance-David Pickel Agency*
- Police Officer of the Year: Detective Leon ‘Trechi’ Rademacher III, BAPD**
- Firefighter of the Year: Firefighter Wes Moody, BAFD**
