Police in Arkansas arrested a Broken Arrow man this week for threatening to have his “Aryan Race brothers” to kill all of the police officers in Mountain View, according to the public records and media reports.
The incident occurred Tuesday in Mountain View, Ark. Arrested was 20-year-old George David Barnett.
According to the probable cause affidavit from the Mountain View Police Department, KTLO reported that officers were dispatched to a McDonald’s for a report of a man trespassing. They found Barnett there after he had been trespassed from the business earlier in the day.
KTLO reported that officers found Barnett in the parking lot, “and while he was being patted down in front of a patrol car, another man walked up. Barnett started yelling he was going to kill the man and then lunged at him.”
Officers were able to get Barnett to the ground and into handcuffs as he continued to say he was going to kill the other man. He then started to threaten to kill both officers, police said.
While enroute to the Stone County Jail, the police affidavit said Barnett told the officer he “was going to get his Aryan Race Brothers to come to Mountain View to kill all of the officers.”
Barnett faces a felony charge of first-degree terroristic threatening along with misdemeanor charges of resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and trespassing. His bond was set at $100,000.
According to KTLO, the affidavit noted Barnett was arrested last month after he was standing on the sidewalk, yelling obscenities and threatening to kill everyone he saw. He was charged with misdemeanor charges of terroristic threatening and disorderly conduct.
