We’ve reached the end of another successful semester here at Northeastern State University. The month of May brings excitement for our soon-to-be graduates and anticipation for the summer ahead and this year is no different.
NSU will celebrate graduates at five commencement ceremonies this month.
The Oklahoma College of Optometry ceremony will take place on Friday, May 10 at 4 p.m.
in the NSU Center for the Performing Arts in Tahlequah.
The Gregg Wadley College of Science & Health Professions ceremony will also take place on Friday at 6:30 p.m. in the NSU Event Center in Tahlequah.
Ceremonies will continue on Saturday, May 11 with the College of Education commencement at 9:30 a.m. in the NSU Event Center. The College of Business & Technology and College of Liberal Arts ceremony will follow that afternoon at 1:30 p.m. in the NSU Event Center.
The ceremony for all NSU-Broken Arrow colleges will take place on Monday, May 13 at 6:30
p.m. at the ORU Mabee Center in Tulsa.
Guests are welcome. NSU will also livestream the commencement ceremonies for family members and friends of graduates unable to attend in person.

Adult learners looking to finishing their bachelor’s degree will have the chance to learn about NSU’s Reach Higher program at a Reconnect Roadshow right here in Broken Arrow this summer.
NSU representatives will be present at the Taste of Summer event on June 22 to share how you can put your existing college credit toward a bachelor’s degree in organizational leadership online. Stop by the festival to enjoy a scoop (or a few) of ice cream and learn how you can complete your degree dreams.

There’s still an opportunity to register for NSU’s summer youth camps and programming. With a variety of activities taking place both here on the Broken Arrow campus and in Tahlequah, there is something for everyone.

Tickets are now on sale for the River City Players. For more than forty years the River City Players have entertained audiences with country and rock ‘n’ roll performances.
This year’s theme is “River City Players: As Seen on TV.” Take a trip to Tahlequah this summer to join the River City Players for a celebration of music that made its way into our homes via the TV. Showcasing iconic moments from classic TV shows like The Ed Sullivan Show, American Bandstand, HeeHaw and more.
Country performances will take place Fridays at 7:30 p.m. and Saturdays at 4 p.m. and rock ‘n’ roll performances on Thursdays at 7:30 p.m. and Fridays and Saturdays at 1 p.m. June 27 through Aug. 3.
