The Coweta Police Department, assisted by the Tulsa County and Wagoner County sheriff’s departments, are searching for a suspect in an armed robbery Saturday night.
The incident happened at the Kum & go near 151st Street and Highway 72. Coweta police say the clerk was shot five times during the robbery after the suspect took the cash register and backed out of the store.
The clerk was flown to a Tulsa hospital and he is expected to survive.
The suspect is described as a white/light-skinned male dressed in dark clothing, with a tan emblem on it and bright-colored shoes. He is presumed to be armed and dangerous.
