Forecasters say up to 3 inches of snow could fall in the Tulsa area tonight into Monday morning, causing a potentially hazardous commute Monday morning.
The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory from 9 p.m. tonight through noon Monday for portions of northwest Arkansas and east central and northeast Oklahoma.
Up to 3 inches of heavy, wet snow could fall during the period, with potentially more at higher elevations. Heavy snow during the morning commute Monday could limit visibility and create slushy travel conditions.
It’s unlikely the snow will stick around very long, as temperatures are expected to reach into the upper 50s to mid-60s Tuesday through Friday.
