The Broken Arrow Economic Development Corp. (BAEDC) announced that 9 local businesses have been selected to receive a combined total of $1.1 million through two key programs managed by the Oklahoma Department of Commerce — the Oklahoma Innovation Expansion Program (OIEP) and the Business Expansion Investment Program (BEIP).
This investment supports the city’s focus on job creation, equipment modernization and long-term economic development.
“Broken Arrow continues to be a leader in innovation and business development in Oklahoma,” said Amber Miller, Vice President of Economic Development at BAEDC. “These awards are not just about funding — they’re about expanding opportunity, creating high-quality jobs, and reinforcing the community’s commitment to economic vitality.”
The OIEP and BEIP awards are designed to assist Oklahoma companies in making innovative investments in production capabilities, automation, and infrastructure improvements.
This year’s recipients represent a wide range of sectors, from precision machining and plastic injection molding to energy solutions and nonprofit workforce development.
RISE Armament, known for its nationally recognized trigger systems and precision engineering, is one of the Broken Arrow companies benefiting from OIEP funding.
“The Oklahoma Innovation Expansion Program helped RISE Armament take things to the next level,” said Matt Torres, CEO. “It’s allowed us to invest in cutting-edge equipment that boosts our performance, sharpens our edge and keeps us competitive. That means more innovation, more jobs, and a stronger future for manufacturing here in Oklahoma.”
RL Hudson & Company, a leader in custom molded plastic and rubber components, is expanding into vertical injection molding technology — a first for the company.
“This investment marks an important step in expanding our manufacturing capabilities,” said Jason Hudson, CEO. “The addition of this technology will not only increase our production
flexibility and grow manufacturing in Oklahoma but also enhance our ability to serve customers with specialized needs. We are excited about the opportunities this brings to RL Hudson and look forward to leveraging the new machine to deliver even more value to our partners and community.”
Total Valve Systems, a global leader in engineered valve and pressure solutions, is undertaking a major expansion in Broken Arrow.
“This expansion reflects our long-term commitment to innovation, product quality, and operational excellence,” the company said in a statement. “We are proud to be part of
the vibrant Broken Arrow community and excited to play a greater role in its continued growth and prosperity.“
