The Broken Arrow Fore Department responded to a house fire Tuesday and got it quickly under control.
BAFD was called to a house near East Kenosha Street and South 236th East Avenue for a residential structure fire. Arriving on scene they were met with heavy smoke coming from the garage and saw flames on the back side of the home.
Crews responded to the home in under 3 minutes after being dispatched and made a fast attack as the fire had made its way to the attic. After being on scene approximately 15 minutes, firefighters had it under control. The residents were not home at the time and all pets were outside.
Responding to the scene was Engine 1, Engine 4, Engine 7, Ladder 6, Squad 3, Squad 4, and an EMS officer, battalion chief and the deputy chief.
