The Broken Arrow Police Department is pleased to announce the establishment of the Broken Arrow Police Foundation.
The foundation is an independent, not-for-profit organization that will work to provide vital resources and critical support to the police department.
The organization’s purpose will be to bring together private sector businesses and citizens to assist the police department in addressing public safety needs and crime prevention. The organization will aim to assist the police department by providing support for community engagement, and support for police and their families, all with a focus on helping continue the quality of life found in Broken Arrow.
“This foundation will play a vital role for our department and community,” said Broken Arrow Police Chief Brandon Berryhill. “The members are committed to strengthening our law enforcement agency and fostering a safer community through collaborative initiatives, ensuring a symbiotic relationship between officers and the citizens we serve.”
The founding members of the organization are Craig Canard, Farrah Fulps, Lincoln Leedy, Mario Briseno, Larry Pennington, Mike Scrimsher, and Nick Jackson.
“I am deeply honored and grateful to serve as the President of the Police Foundation,” said Foundation President Craig Canard. “We stand alongside dedicated officers and community partners in our shared mission to enhance public safety and build trust within our neighborhoods.
The Broken Arrow Police Foundation will be primarily funded through donations from local companies and individual citizens. All donations go toward the betterment of the Broken Arrow Police Department.
