Coweta police are still looking for a suspect in the armed robbery of a pharmacy Saturday on Highway 51.
At 11:31 a.m. police received a 911 call and silent alarm from the Express RX pharmacy at 12071 on Highway 51 about an armed robbery.
An adult male who appeared to be Caucasian and had a visible handgun demanded drugs from the pharmacy and then stole a vehicle from the parking lot and fled the scene before officers arrived. No employees or customers at the store are believed to have been injured.
The suspect was last seen heading eastbound on 121st street in a stolen 2008 silver Nissan Titan, OK tag number BBM430.
The suspect was last seen wearing dark khaki pants, a dark blue and white plaid flannel, tan vest, an orange hunting hat and black sunglasses.
Numerous witnesses commenting on the police department’s Facebook post about the situation incident said they saw the truck going eastbound on 121st Street a high rate of speed.
Anyone with information about the robbery or happens to spot the suspect or the vehicle is asked to call the Coweta Police Department or use the Tip411 CPD app to report it. Do not approach the suspect as he is considered armed and dangerous.
