A fire damaged the Farmers Co-Op business in Coweta on Friday as emergency responders fought the blaze for more than an hour.
The fire was reported shortly before 6 p.m. at 29531 Highway 51. The Coweta Fire Department responded along with mutual aid from the Broken Arrow Fire Department.
Wagoner County Emergency Management also responded to the scene with lights and a drone. The scene was cleared a little more than an hour later.
It’s unclear how much damage occurred at the popular business — which sells livestock health and care supplies, seasonal garden plants, bedding plants and hanging baskets as well as lawn and garden seed and fertilizer. There is no word yet what caused the fire.
