Ultra-low fare carrier Frontier Airlines announced Tuesday it would return to Tulsa International Airport this fall after ceasing service at eastern Oklahoma’s largest airport in 2022.
Frontier said it would be launching nonstop service to Denver International Airport, operating twice per week, beginning Oct. 12.
“We are delighted to be back in Tulsa, offering area consumers our signature ultra-low fare travel to Denver,” said Josh Flyr, vice president of network and operations design for Frontier Airlines, in a statement.
“Whether planning a getaway to the Colorado Rockies, or enjoying a one-connection journey to dozens of destinations we serve from DEN, now is a better time than ever for travelers to experience Frontier’s convenience, comfort, and affordability.”
“As our airport continues to grow, Frontier’s return helps us deliver on our promise of accessible and affordable travel options for all,” said Stephanie Chester, director of marketing and customer engagement at TUL. “We’re excited to see Frontier invest in our community and expand the possibilities for travelers across our region.”
To celebrate its return to Tulsa, Frontier said it would be offering fares as low as $39. Check www.flyfrontier.com for additional details.
