Broken Arrow police have identified the man who died of an accidental gunshot wound Wednesday.
Officers said the man was 35-year-old Michael Joseph Keegan of Broken Arrow. The incident is still under investigation and police did not have further details to release Thursday.
Police were called to a residence near 36th Street and S. 214th East Ave. Wednesday and found Keegan suffering from a single gunshot wound.
Keegan was immediately taken by Broken Arrow Fire Department paramedics to St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, where he later died from his injuries.
BAPD said it is “diligently to investigate the circumstances surrounding this incident.”
