Broken Arrow police have identified the man who was killed during a two-vehicle accident
Sunday morning on Aspen Avenue.
The man who died is 79-year-old Alan Douglas Sanstra of Broken Arrow. Police said he was driving northbound on Aspen near West Princeton Circle when his Toyota Tundra pickup truck struck a curb, blew a tire and veered across all lanes of traffic.
Sanstra’s truck struck another vehicle and then hit a utility pole. He was pronounced dead at the scene and no injuries were reported to the other driver. The crash remains under investigation, police said Monday.
Sanstra was born June 27, 1942 to Roy and Lola (Dickson) Sanstra. Arrangements for Sanstra will be through Floral Haven and details are pending.
