The Broken Arrow Police Department has arrested a martial arts instructor on charges of lewd molestation of several minors.
Officers said the charges filed against Lyndon Cole Jarman, 29, involve at least five minors and there may be other victims.
Police said the investigation revealed the alleged crimes happened while the children were in the care of Jarman while serving as their martial arts instructor.
“The arrest follows a thorough investigation after several victims and their families provide information to detectives. At this time, the case remains under investigation, and we are committed to providing updates as appropriate while respecting the privacy of the victims involved,” BAPD said in a statement.
“It is possible that there could be more victims connected with this investigation,” the department added.
“The safety and well-being of our children in Broken Arrow remain our highest priority. As part of our ongoing commitment to protecting our children, we work tirelessly to investigate and respond to any allegations of harm to minors. Every day, our officers and investigators work with unwavering dedication to ensure that those who commit crimes against children are held accountable.”
