On the strength of an 8-2 record, the Broken Arrow Tigers drew a bye for the OSSAA gridiron playoffs and will face the winner of Mustang and Norman North on Nov. 21.
Winners of 6 games in a row, including a recent 62-14 blasting of winless Westmoore, the Tigers finished in 2nd place in their district, just behind Owasso.
BAHS previously beat Mustang (5-5) 21-14 in a tough battle earlier this year, and handily won their game with Yukon (5-5) 42-14.

Bixby High School faced very little serious competition this year in rolling to a 10-0 record. The Spartans face the winner of Union (4-6) and Norman High School (6-4) in Nov. 21.
Jenks (9-1) and Owasso (10-0) also drew first-round byes.
After a disappointing 4-8 campaign in the 2024 season that included losing 5 of their last 6 games, BAHS has turned the ship completely around under first-year coach Travis Hill, who previously was the defensive coordinator for the Tigers’ 2018 state championship team.
The Tigers have leaned on the run this year but still maintained a fairly balanced attack on offense this season to finish with 286 yards of offense per game. BAHS logged 101 passing yards per game and 185 rushing yards per contest with 14 rushing touchdowns and 7 passing.
The Tigers finished the regular season very efficient with their rushing offense, logging nearly 6 yards per carry, and Tiger QBs also have a pass completion percentage of 61.3%.
Semaj Stanford has led the way among receivers with 57 yards per game, while Corey Sango has paced the rushing attack with 88 yards per contest. Quarterback Jeramiah Ssettimba has thrown for 7 touchdowns with 65 completions in 104 attempts for a total of 911 yards — and a QB rating of 109.1.
Samaj Stanford, Colton Barlow and Nate Jackson have paced the defense with 80, 73 and 70 tackles, respectively.
