Road projects in north Broken Arrow on the horizon

The City of Broken Arrow and Tulsa County held a joint public meeting regarding several current and future roadway projects generally in the northern portions of the city.

The July 13 meeting was held at the Broken Arrow High School and was well attended by the community.

Improvements from 23rd Street to 37th Street (Phase I)
Albany Street improvements from 23rd Street to 37th Street (Phase II). Total estimated bond cost $2.66 million
23rd Street improvement from Houston Street to Kenosha Street, including bridge over SH-51. Total estimated construction cost $20.4 million (2014 Bond, STP, etc.)
Albany Street improvements from 9th Street to 23rd Street. Total estimated cost $7.2 million (2014 Bond & STP).
37th Street improvements from Kenosha Street to Albany Street. Total estimated cost $2.66 million.
37th Street improvements from Houston Street to Kenosha Street. Total estimated cost $2.66 million
23rd Street improvements from Albany Street to Omaha Street, including bridge. 2018 Bond Budget $9.10 million
37th Street improvements from Omaha Street to Dearborn Street. 2018 bond budget $5.30 million.
Houston Street improvements from 9th Street to Old Highway 51. 2018 Bond Budget $7.40 million
23rd Street rehabilitation from Kenosha Street to Albany Street. 2018 Bond Budget $2 million.
9th Street corridor (9th Street and Hillside Drive/9th Street and Kenosha Street signals) 2018 Bond budget $4.10 million
