Broken Arrow’s Rose District will once again be buzzing with activity as the 94th annual Roosters Days kicks off this week.
The Broken Arrow Chamber of Commerce — along with title sponsor TTCU Federal Credit Union and in partnership with the City of Broken Arrow — will host the Oklahoma’s longest running festival.
The Details
Festival hours are Thursday, 5-10 p.m., Friday, 5-11 p.m., Saturday, 10 a.m. to 11 p.m., and Sunday, noon to 6 p.m. The epicenter of activity for Rooster Days is at Central Park on Main, 1500 S. Main St.

Festival attractions include over 100 marketplace vendors to shop inside the Community Center, food trucks, local entertainment, carnival rides, a kids activity zone with crafts, bounce house and cooling area, a 5K and 1-mile fun run and parade. Click here to see the list of booked vendors.
First held in 1931 to help local farmers market their excess poultry, the festival has grown into one of Oklahoma’s longest-running community celebrations.
The Rooster Days Parade will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. in the Rose District. The parade heads straight down Main, starting on College Avenue and ending on Mason Drive. For a map of the full parade route, click here.
The 5k race will start at Veterans Park on Main, on Saturday at 7:30 a.m. The 1-mile fun run will start at 7:35 a.m.
Rosco the Rooster kicks off the 5k and 1-mile fun run every year and cheers the runners on from the sidelines.
Plenty of Entertainment
Live entertainment is another hallmark of the festival. Thursday includes the Broken Arrow Middle School Choir and Jazz Bands 1 and 2, and 18-year-old Oklahoma country singer Madi Maguire. On Friday, Pablo Leos and Alta Frecuencia will perform starting at 6 p.m.
On Saturday at 10:30 a.m. the Broken Arrow Tigettes perform. Starting at 4:30 p.m. there will be performance by Emily Hollingshead, Braden Jamison and The Get Down Band.
Sunday brings another day of entertainment, starting off at noon with the Broken Arrow Dance Academy, followed by the Barrel Fish Steel Band, Theatre Arts Studio Troupe and the Brian Belanus Jazz Duo.
