Here is a list of the Top 10 most popular articles on the Broken Arrow Sentinel for the month of February.
Broken Arrow was gripped by tragedy when a 12-year-old boy accidentally slid onto Albany Street near Bass Pro Shops and was struck by a pickup truck that did not stop. Police said their investigation revealed the driver likely didn’t know the collision occurred and no charges have been filed at this time.
Hoking and cheering could also be heard late last month as The People’s Convoy rolled down the Creek Turnpike through south Tulsa and Broken Arrow. Thousands of people greeted the drivers on bridges and next to the highway.
Finally, the city of Broken Arrow announced the ownership group that purchased the land where Bell’s Amusement Park was proposed to go was planning to slow the development process down and pursue a market study for the property – and the amusement park may or may not happen.
