Passengers flying out of Tulsa International Airport will soon be able to visit a relaxing lounge with locally sourced food and beverages and other amenities.
Tulsa International Airport’s board of Trust has awarded a contract with CAVU, a company that manages award-winning airport Escape Lounges.
In addition to the food and drinks, the lounges feature in-house chefs and high-speed Wi-Fi. Escape Lounges are ranked as the No. 1 common-use lounges in the U.S. across TripAdvisor, Google, Yelp! and Facebook reviews, the board said.
The Escape Lounge at TUL will be approximately 3,100 square feet with seating capacity for about 60 people. Construction of the new lounge will start immediately, with plans to open by fall 2024. CAVU will be investing $2.3 million to renovate the area and open the space.

“We’re looking forward to giving our passengers the opportunity to unwind and recharge before flights,” said Andrew Pierini, executive vice president and chief commercial officer at Tulsa International Airport. “We’ve had customers ask about a potential lounge for years, so we’re happy to partner with CAVU to bring one of their award-winning Escape Lounges to TUL.”
