A video was posted to Facebook Monday night showing a bat-wielding Tulsa man chasing away a burglar.
The person who posted the video, Sean Moon, said this happened in “far south Tulsa” and the man is married and had children. The date of the incident wasn’t mentioned.
The video shows the man emerging from his front door with a baseball hat in his hands, circling around his family’s vehicles and greeting the burglar in front of the garage.
The homeowner struck the burglar and something fell out of his hands onto the driveway. The homeowner didn’t stop there, chasing the burglar back to his vehicle and smashing two of its windows before it took off.
The homeowner didn’t appear to be injured but may have landed a couple of blows on the perpetrator.
It was unclear Monday if the incident had been reported to police.

“It does not matter where you live in Tulsa, Bixby, Broken Arrow, Jenks, east Tulsa, etc. Crime is everywhere,” Moon said in his post. “Thank God he is okay, and so is his family. This could have been so much worse.”
