Three men were taken into custody Monday night after breaking into a Broken Arrow dispensary, demanding money and stealing merchandise, the Broken Arrow Police Department said.
Police were called to Buzz’n Cannabis Co.,709 W. New Orleans St., just before 10 p.m. due to a report of a man with a gun in the store. A victim at the store told police he saw a video camera inside the store show two men with masks and firearms walk in.
The victim said he grabbed his dog and hid inside the dispensary’s safe and called police, and waited inside the safe until the suspects left.

Officers arrived in scene and encountered three men standing inside the store, two of them armed and all of them wearing masks and hoodies.
Another employee working at the front desk and said a black male wearing a black face covering and brandishing a black handgun entered, told him to empty his pockets and to open the cash drawer.
After handing over his cell phone he was ordered to put money in bags. The suspects then tried to open the safe, but after failing to do so left the store with stolen items.
Police arriving at the scene observed the suspects leaving the store and ordered them to put their hands up and not move. They were were taken into custody and there were no injuries reported to employees or officers.
Arrested at the scene for armed robbery were:
- Desmond Lavelle Caldwill, 19, of Broken
- Michael Jesus Espinoza, 20, of Tulsa
- Jayce Deontae Smith, 18 of Broken Arrow
