The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said 1 person was killed and 2 were injured Tuesday morning after an accident on U.S. 69 in Wagoner County.
OHP said Rodney Noe, 51, of Quinlan, Texas, died at St. Francis Hospital in Muskogee from massive injuries suffered in the accident, which happened around 8 a.m. about ½ a mile south of W. 80th Street North, 7½ miles south of Wagoner.
Noe was a passenger in a 2008 Ford F-150 driven by 47-year-old Tonya Brackin of Kaufman, Texas. Brackin was taken by Pafford EMS to St. John Hospital in Tulsa and admitted in stable condition with arm and internal trunk injuries.
A second passenger, 72-year-old Donna Noe of Karufman, Texas, was taken by Pafford to St. John in Tulsa and admitted in critical condition with head and internal trunk injuries.
Troopers are still investigating the accident. The weather was clear and roads dry at the time.
