A Tulsa woman was injured during a two-car crash Monday afternoon on the Muskogee Turnpike east of Broken Arrow.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said Merideth Rasor, 41, of Tulsa was driving west on the turnpike (OK-351) in the outside lane at 2:53 p.m. when her vehicle was struck from behind by another car. Rasor’s car rolled over and departed the roadway to the right.
Rasor was taken by Broken Arrow Fire Department EMS to Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa and admitted in stable condition with head injuries.
OHP identified the driver of the other car as 29-year-old William Lookout of Tulsa, who was not injured in the collision. OHP said the cause of the accident was inattention. OHP, the Broken Arrow Fire Department, Broken Arrow Fire Department EMS and the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority responded to the accident.
