Five people, including 4 adults and one juvenile, are facing various charges after being arrested in connection with a parking lot robbery in Broken Arrow recently.
Police responded to a reported assault at the Stoney Creek Hotel in Broken Arrow May 31 around 1 a.m. and found a 19-year-old male victim with injuries who stated he had been attacked and robbed in the parking lot.
Police identified and detained several individuals attempting to leave the scene and the victim positively identified the three men and one teen involved in the assault and robbery.
A fifth suspect was arrested after officers recovered a loaded AR-type pistol concealed in his clothing, police said. The following adults were arrested:
- Tyler Singleton – Conjoint Robbery, Conspiracy
- Kanez Bryant – Conjoint Robbery, Conspiracy
- Demarius Williams, 18 – Conjoint Robbery, Conspiracy
- Michael Tucker – Unlawful Firearm Possession Obstruction
Singleton has been facing legal troubles and bounced in and out of court since pleading guilty to 3rd-degree burglary and unlawfully carrying a firearm stemming from an incident in 2022. A judge deferred the finding of guilty and Singleton’s sentence was suspended while he was placed on probation under Department of Correction supervision.
Singleton was back in custody this year after violating the conditions of his supervision. He was accepted into drug court in May, before the incident on May 31 put him back in custody. Bond for Singleton was set at $250,000.
Bryant was arrested by the Sapulpa Police Department late last year on a charge of 1st degree attempted burglary. He pled guilty and was given a 7-year deferment on his sentence and released in April.
The identity of the juvenile is not being released.
