Broken Arrow police are investigating the death of a 72-year-old woman and believe it was a homicide.
Officers responded to a welfare check at 7 p.m. Sunday at 1005 S. Aspen Ct. after a called advised she hadn’t heard from Linda J. Davenport in several days and she was concerned.
Officers found the residence unsecured and Davenport dead due to “traumatic injuries consistent with a homicide.”
Detectives are working to develop information on the case and crime scene technicians are processing evidence.
