The Broken Arrow Fire Department is investigating the cause of a blaze that damaged storage units early Saturday morning in the city.
Firefighters were called to 194th East Avenue south of Omaha Street behind Arborstone Storage, at 4 a.m. and discovered storage units fully involved with fire.
BAFD Public Information Officer Jared Hardwick said crews established an attack to gain control of the fire and eventually extinguished it around 6 a.m.. Firefighters and police shut down County Line Road for safety purposes.
The Oak Grove Fire Department assisted with water shuttle operations, and the Tulsa Fire Department staged at Broken Arrow fire stations to assist with other calls that came in.
Firefighters remained on scene for several more hours to check for hotspots and to make sure the fire did not rekindle, Hardwick said. No injuries were reported in the cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
