One person was arrested Sunday night after a shooting incident on Broken Arrow’s south side, the Broken Arrow Police Department said.
Officers responded to a reported shooting at 9:47 p.m. near 91st Street and Aspen Avenue, in the parking lot of the former Salvation Boys and Girls Club.
KRMG reported a group of men who were related was traveling from Coweta to Broken Arrow when a fight broke out between two of the men. The driver pulled into the parking lot and one of the men shot the other in the chest.
The person struck by gunfire was transported to a local hospital and listed in stable condition, and the shooter was apprehended and taken into custody after a running from the scene.
Police said they were still investigating the incident and would release additional details when they are available.
