Broken Arrow wants its time in the spotlight.
The city’s tourism department, Visit Broken Arrow, launched its new advertising campaign at Tuesday at Tulsa International Airport, featuring the city’s new character, “Bullseye.”
The city said the unique superhero isn’t about fighting crime, but boredom – and to showcase fun and exciting thigs Broken Arrow has to offer.
As part of the new strategy to position Broken Arrow as a premier destination “Where Families Find Fun,” Bullseye will be the charismatic guide encouraging travelers arriving at the airport to make Broken Arrow their next stop, city officials said. The “engaging and family-friendly character” is set to embark on adventures throughout the city, highlighting the best places to eat, shop and play, the city said.
The new campaign, “is a fresh and exciting way to draw attention to the diverse and entertaining experiences Broken Arrow offers,” said Brian Dean, chairperson of the Visit Broken Arrow Tourism Board. “Bullseye embodies the spirit of fun and adventure that our city provides to families and visitors. We are excited to invite everyone to follow his journey and discover the vibrant attractions that make Broken Arrow a fantastic place to visit.”
