The first official spring rain soaked Broken Arrow and the Tulsa area Monday with more than an inch of rain, the National Weather Service said.
Oklahoma Mesonet showed Broken Arrow had received about 1 inch of rain by Monday night, although more thundershowers were still arriving from the south
The National Weather Service in Tulsa said another 0.50 inches of rain could fall in the Tulsa area overnight.
Storms will gradually end from west to east from late evening through the early morning hours on Tuesday.
Cooler temperatures will persist through mid week, with warmer temperatures expected by the weekend
