Here are some sights from the Christmas tree lighting event Thursday night in the Rose District, also known as “It’s a Wonderful Life Broken Arrow.”
The giant Christmas tree was lit just after 6 p.m. and merchants celebrated the start of the holiday season as well.
Horse-drawn carriages, an open ice rink, Santa Claus, the Grinch, live music and refreshments were also part of festivities that drew hundreds downtown.
