The National Weather Service in Tulsa has upgraded the snow totals that could be seen in Tulsa County to 8-12 inches, in what appears to be more of a snow event in the metro area than an ice event.
Forecasters says significant accumulations of snow and sleet are expected Wednesday night through Thursday night, with the heaviest precipitation likely to fall late today and tonight.
Total snow accumulations of 4-8 inches are forecast, with local amounts up to 10 inches — with heaviest snow totals along the Interstate 44 corridor into portions of far northwest Arkansas.
Only 0.01 to 0.10 inches of ice accumulation is forecast in Tulsa County, while 0.50 to 0.75 inches of ice could fall in southeast Oklahoma.

across portions of northeast Oklahoma and far northwest Arkansas tonight.
Power outages and tree damage are likely primarily across portions of southeast Oklahoma. Power outages of 24 hours and possibly up to several days should be anticipated across portions of far southeast Oklahoma

Dangerous wind chill values will also develop tonight with values of 0 to -10 F likely. Dangerous wind chills will persist into Friday morning.
Broken Arrow schools have already announced that virtual classrooms will be utilized Thursday and the situation is continuing to be monitored.
The city of Broken Arrow also released a statement about trash pickup. Due to the forecast of dangerously low wind chill values, and to ensure the safety of our employees during this winter storm event,” sanitation services on Thursday, Feb. 3 will be rescheduled to Saturday, Feb. 5.
