The Tulsa Police Department said thee people were arrested Monday night after an armed robbery occurred in Tulsa and a police chase of the suspects ended in Broken Arrow.
Tulsa police responded to a call at 5:42 p.m. for an armed robbery at an apartment complex near 71st Street and Mingo Road. The victim told officers he went to the Chardonnay Apartments to pick up a friend when two men got into the backseat of his car and robbed him at gunpoint.
The suspects took $120, a new phone and a bag of miscellaneous belongings. Officers tracked down the suspects hiding outside the 89 East Apartments, where a woman picked them up and drove away.
One of the suspects left behind a bag with an airsoft gun in it, which officers recovered. During a chase with officers, the suspects driving became increasingly dangerous. TPD’s helicopter took over the pursuit and officers continued to converge on the suspects, police said.
The suspects hit a vehicle and crashed in Broken Arrow near 71st Street and Aspen Avenue. Two men, identified as 18-year-old Isaiah Greene and 18-year-old Daniel Roman, jumped out and started running.
With help from the Broken Arrow Police Department, officers caught and arrested Greene and Roman along with a woman identified as 19-year-old Jasmin Hernandez, who stayed in the crashed vehicle.
All three suspects were taken to the hospital for treatment and arrested for robbery with a firearm/dangerous weapon and fleeing/eluding police.
