Green Country Habitat for Humanity (GCHFH, formerly known as Tulsa Habitat for Humanity) celebrated its newest ReStore facility with a ribbon cutting ceremony and official grand opening on Friday.
The store is Habitat’s fifth ReStore location and its first in Broken Arrow. State and federal elected officials and representatives; Broken Arrow Mayor Debra Wimpee and city councilors; City Manager Michael Spurgeon; Darla Heller, Broken Arrow Chamber of Commerce senior vice president of economic development; Green Country Habitat president and CEO Cameron Walker; the New Orleans Square Advisory Commitee and many others were on hand for the grand opening.
ReStores are home improvement outlets featuring new and recycled furniture, fixtures, tools, doors, countertops, appliances, paint and more.

ReStore-Broken Arrow offers builders and remodelers the opportunity to renovate and update at a fraction of retail prices, and all revenue generated benefits GCHFH’s mission of providing affordable housing to Green Country families.
ReStore-Broken Arrow, a 30,000-square-foot retail store employing 15 people, opened to the public on Jan. 3. It occupies a major retail space at the intersection that has seen the addition of Home Church and Cypress Place with several retail stores and restaurants.
