Authorities say a small, experimental aircraft crashed in east Tulsa Monday and the National Transportation Safety Board will be investigating.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Tulsa Fire Department and Tulsa Police Department responded to the crash near 21st Street and 145th East Avenue around 10 a.m.
Tulsa police say the pilot was the only person on board and he was taken to hospital. His condition is unknown at this time.
Media reports say the plane went down in a church parking lot just south of Harvey Young Airport.
